craziest bunch of people i've met in my entire life. love them. great i've met fussmina. 3 obviously different personalities when you put us together, but it seems, the more difference, the more fun it is, i think.

i've finally finished another bird in denim. BIGGER bird. but its just the right size i find. bout 16cm long (tail to head) (the smaller one is 9cm tail to head). for someone who would appreciates beautiful things; give the little birdie a new home. just need a feel little accessories for the little birdie.

im doing a few pieces, testing out fabrics. will upload them when i'm done doing them.

i did my first stuffed bird! check out the pictures.i plan to do a bigger one for gary, with cat nip inside. will drive them nuts. and i will do some with a family one, with mama birdie and birdie babies.. need to get a weave nest for that. yay. so fun. and sleepy now.

the urge to pee

i just created a twitter account. i'm not a big fan of twitter. but what the hell, its free anyway.seriously, i think my father is permanently deaf. i can't talk in my normal voice to him. i practically have to repeat 3-4 times.

cuppa tea anyone?

met fuzz and amin for yakun for dinner at raffles city. loitered around after that, before finally ending up in esplanade's roof terrace with a bottle of green tea, jack daniel's & cola (this is surprisingly yummy) and long island tea (guess which one is mine).

i'm not sure why, whenever fuzz and amina (aka fussmina) meet, alcohol usually is involved. haha. it was a lazy friday i say. i didn't feel like moving or talking. i just wanted to lie somewhere. or take photos.
while the 2 chilled there, i walked around on the terrace barefooted. watching bits of the performance at the ground level (Mosaic Festival started). it wasn't boring. nor was it happening. it was extremely lazy. i was practically a zombie. i wasn't thinking about anything. maybe that's a good thing.

while we gulp down our drinks, amin tore his jack daniel's label and gave it to me. so i pasted on my green tea bottle, and presto! i was inspired. hahahaha. i have fuzz' long island tea label, but i'm sorry to say, it taste as bad as it looks, so i'm not going to use that label.heh heh heh heh heh. the moment i got home, i showered and head on straight to my computer and started to do my first poster.
i'm loving it. hahahaha. this morning i got up, i'd straight away head on straight to my computer and start photoshopping away the idea.1st it was the bus stop ad. this took me awhile to do it.then it was the tees (i've yet to do the guy's version yet).later the magazine..
then it was the bus ad. this is extremely tough to do. because i was trying to make it less fakey looking as possible.
followed by the can drink. (i like this picture alot).
which finally ends up in the vending machine.

i'm still thinking where can i put the poster at. if you have any ideas let me know.

yay. its freaking friday people! put on your party shoes and rock the night away - whereas i will put on my PJ's and sleep the weekend away. woot.

today at work (i'm still at work):
1. i didn't get to open the 'DOOR OF DOOM' because by the time i've reach (9:28am?), metal shutters of fear has already been rolled up, and the alarm of a thousand shrieks has been.. unalarmed. thank you god. i owe you one.

2. called up my forwarder, because he has not been replying any of my MF emails, turns out he on course. dammit. luckily another bloke took over my enquiries.

3. talk to my newest supplier in terrible type out mandarin on msn.

today is yakun night. meeting fuzzy (and maybe amina) later at RC's yakun. so far, no news whether amina is joining or not. anyway. visited design sponge site, and beginning to hate my own room, as i am so in love with this! so much clutter, so much texture, so much pattern, i love. i (and will) always liked eclectic interior design. everything just means so much more then those you mass purchased at an furniture store. homes, should be and will be, part of oneself, so its best to display "yourself" in your own house, as this gives more characteristics and warmth in the house.

the thing with these homes, is the easy access to flea markets and garage sales. but like for us, where in the f*country can i find cheap vintage flea stockist and cheap garage sales? nadah. someone should start a collection warehouse, where valuables can be stored and sold cheaply to us. like another "house of japan - home & living". everybody wants it new and clean. but its so cold and unfamiliar. i don't want to stay industrialised-cubicle cookie cutter looking home.

as much as i love the sun, waking up to the sun all over your face can be quite pissing off. but its ok. i love you, sun. you're my favourite star.

i love this song.. one of the first few songs he did in the cafe, Java Jones, in San Diego. i'm not a huge fan of JM (tho's i've been talking alot of him), just that he is a great entertainer. i only really look up his songs after i saw in Singfest 08. yea..

another great entertainer i think will be John Legend. waiting for him to come over to our sunny island.


also, another great entertainer, a long time roomate/bestfriend/juggle partner of JM is Bushwalla. i love his freestyles. crazy. here is a funny song he did (with his roomie).

been surfing the waves of wireless connectivity of the sacred internet, and aimlessly wondering around in cyberworld till i stumble upon toy cameras.

- i have one. lomo's supersampler in fact. all along i thought a normal film will do the trick for a lomo camera.. but i'm not sure. maybe its the type of film i use. for 3 years in TP, i opted for a class in photography, and for 3 years my spot been given to a less of a lover of photographer personnel. this has been the down point my 3 years in TP, 'cos i really want to learn photography. and missing that part of my education, i just hope someone is kind enough to teach me the process of photography - film, cross processing, E2C, ISOs, yadda yadda. -

met the 2 others today for dinner. for our ritual meet up. haha.

currently Jack Conte and Nataly Dawn (the couple of Pomplamoose) are not signed to any major record labels. which is great i suppose. because, being signed to a record label, somehow long the way, loses the essentials of music, and what appears on MTV are youthy poppy culture. which sucks i tell you. they tend to change the perspective of the song, and more or less, it ends up sending out the wrong information of how music should actually be. so i hope Pomplamoose, Jack Conte Music, Nataly Dawn Music do not sign up with any major records (yet, i'm not cursing you guys) till a company truely accepts your music.

yesterday i managed to finish watching BIG FISH. long expired dvd to watch too. been on my desk all 2 weeks. great show. a little incomplete but great cinematography and plenty of colours. great show to watch on a lazy saturday, where its pouring mountain lions and wolf packs. a great stay at home show. interested parties, please msn me for the dvd.

the movie for 2009, some of you may heard it, some of you not. the movie " i love you philip morris", true to its trailer, has been funny indeed, of course.. we are talking about jim carrey here. but i have a mix feeling of how it is going to make it in the box office. as open as gay can be, its, however, quite a touchy feely topic. but anyway, i see the movie is for the enjoyment for both straights and gays alike. if you're gay, close one eye. if you're straight, cover one ear.

today i met mj for a meet up and were talking. talking and talking till she ask what stuff i could DO by myself, meaning, on my own, D.I.M (do it myself), do it alone.

i've been thinking. and i came to a conclusion.

1. watch a movie
2. pierce my ear (one of the holes)
3. window shopping
4. travel overseas (work needs me to do this)
5. see the doctor when i am sick (i used to wait for my dad to bring me over to the doc)
6. eat lunch/dinner - outside, not at home
7. walk around in town
8. buy a book
9. go to the library
10. haircut
11. bathe 2 cats
12. buy birthday/xmas presents
13. go to a concert (jason mraz)
14. go ikea to get furnitures for my room

these are so far what i have done. not really some feat.

today i also watch 'marley & me'. its a bitter sweet movie. tiring one to watch too. kinda sad end to it, though the happy sweet poster did put me off guard, thinking its all jolly holly. not one would watch to end the day i suppose.

it made me think of what would happen to gary in, lets say, 10 years? all life forms have to go one day. and it is difficult to send someone we love off to their next journey right? ever since i got gary, life been pretty funny and lucky for me. so it kind of makes me wonder what's next after gary? another cat? or a dog? a hamster or 2? chinchilla?

anywho, gary would always be a special cat to me, a cat that "maaa" instead of "meow", a cat who loves papaya, yoghurt and tomato sauce, a cat who sleeps like a human, a cat who freaks out when he sees an indian. yup. thats my gary.

if only i can have jason mraz's child...

i did a press release for my company and had him in it as part of my script. it was kind of an inside joke, 'course my colleague is so in love with him, so i thought it be fun writing bout hot vampires. surprisingly, quite a few mags ask for our writeups.
