look at that lookbook

from Feedsion to Sartorialist to Lookbook. me like.
fuzzy and me were oggling Lookbook yesterday during work. a little confusing webpage, but the vibe is there. me like it alot.

been surfing the waves of wireless connectivity of the sacred internet, and aimlessly wondering around in cyberworld till i stumble upon toy cameras.

- i have one. lomo's supersampler in fact. all along i thought a normal film will do the trick for a lomo camera.. but i'm not sure. maybe its the type of film i use. for 3 years in TP, i opted for a class in photography, and for 3 years my spot been given to a less of a lover of photographer personnel. this has been the down point my 3 years in TP, 'cos i really want to learn photography. and missing that part of my education, i just hope someone is kind enough to teach me the process of photography - film, cross processing, E2C, ISOs, yadda yadda. -

8StoreyTree. local website selling toy cameras (some at an exorbitant pricings). i saw 3 cameras i wanna get. or one of them. but thing is, i know for gary's nuts what true photography is. so me purchasing one of these cool toys will be like a chimp destroying a laptop.

so should i or should i not? here's what i saw.black bird fly camera (orange) by superheadz (japan). (above)fisheye camera from lomography.
holga camera from lomography.

so how? i'm lost. i'm gonna go to vivo this weekend to PageOne, 'cos i heard they are having a sale. maybe i will look at my lovers adoringly and decide whether there is future between us - camera and chimp.

  1. Black Bird Fly - a TLR that uses 35mm film. with a 2 mask inside, u're able to shoot rect, square, and with sprockets. (a little more expensive cos it's from japan.)

Fisheye camera - it's a great camera as it has the fisheye effect. well, at least using any film, u'll still get an 'effect'. :D

HOlga 120N - uses 120 film (meaning Square Format) though 120 films are a little more costly to develop. (considering each film only has 12/16 exposures)

if u're just starting out, i'd advise holga (cos it's cheaper) or fisheye. ;)

though i've always think lomo is more about having fun!!

FAQ for some about films / xpro etc. though you'll have to be registered to see it. :)
