i was busy all morning tidying up my room. 'cos i thought it be fun to just try to "pretend" i am one of those famous designers with great rooms, like those featured on Design*Sponge. i think i fail miserably. haha. gosh. if only my room is half as gorgeous as those on Design*Sponge.my giant back-to-back E (e = emily) and mini Es (see how i purposely place a book on my bed.. kinda have a interior magazine vibe.. but fail..)
my work space. a clutter. but i still love it. everything i love is on it. while i do my work, gary will look out for birds.
items on my desk. loving my spects.. watching Zoolander and BigFish dvds, reading a book. everybody needs hand cream, though i don't use it religiously. i love the smell on this hand cream (gardeners hand therapy) by Crabtree and Evelyn. my mom says it smells like an old grandma, well i love vintage.

anyway. anybody who doesn't know what is etsy is. shame on you! i simply love this website. i simple adore this page.

sarah, sunny and emil's last day

funny video. lighten up my mood. for a while.

today is friday. to others it will be a "yay, it fucking friday! woohoo!" friday. to some others its their last day at work. heh. the irony. this is unbecoming, almost absurd. today i bid a friend (a little sister) goodbye and 2 others too. the economy isn't helping friendships last huh.

the economy is making me gassy. my boss' personal message on msn is "singapore's economy shrunk by 16%!!". we are going to die. i heard this time its worse then 1997's recession. back then, i'm in my final year in primary school, i already have felt the pressure of 1997. my family lived in fear, fearing my dad might get retrench (my other sisters were still studying).

i feel my mood dunking down the drain. this ain't right. i need a quick perk me up. gary is no where to be seen. i will call him. "gary! garry.. " ah. here he comes.

its great to have a cat, or any pet. kinda pet your sorrows away. cat are great. they know when to come, and when to leave.

ok my mood is slightly better so i am going to introduce a new music video i like very much. very uplifting to the spirits. its by Oren Lavie, an Israeli director/songwrite/singer. this song was chosen for a chevrolet (a car) commercial. the video is made of several photo stills and all the production (including the actress) are from israel. great stuff.

i thought the previous blog was a little lame, so i am gonna do another entry... maybe not. i'm lost for words. maybe i do a little poem for you guys.. may come out a bit sketchy and childish

i call this poem, ain't no pot of gold.

rain it has been,
for the past few days.
clouds had gathered,
and clouds went away.

showering and pouring
wasting away the day,
just like how i felt,
in the office all day.

but after a storm,
came a candy rainbow,
which brings me smile,
but not a pot of gold.

woot. i haven't lost my poetic mojo. hahahaha.

my first entry on a lousy slow day

today is thursday. just one day shy from the weekends, which i cant wait. but then again, i don't have plans for my weekend, except maybe a blog or 2, or a dvd or 2, or irritate Gary (my 2 year old cat) when he is sleeping.

i'm not sure what my blog is gonna be blogging about, most probably stuff i like. of course, this is my blog, obviously i will show stuff i like.

been raining lately. it is good if you happen to leave from work after the rain stops, and it sucks if you happen to leave when it just about to rain. yeah. rain. a love-hate relationship for Gary and me.

if you are wondering where i am now (2.45pm) and what i am doing now - you busybodies - i am at work, i am writing an out-of-the-blue blog, appearing 'Away' on MSN so my manufacturers won't disturb me. yep.
