happy national day and when will i get my last pay?

for the last 2 days cindy and i have been sewing some stuff (i started out first, later cindy joined, 'cos she was bored). cindy is the seamstress of the house, so her sewing skills are better then mine.

today i went to the vets with the boys and mom. the yellow container box sure is tiny, too tiny to fit my two kitties.

went for their yearly booster jab, which will be follow on with bi-annual jabs later on. woohoo.

after which, mom ditch me after the vet, leaving me to bathe the 2 cats alone. like.. whatever..

now i am a very free person. i don't really have a job now, so i think it high wise to start my passion for sewing softies. i just bought a book on sewing softies, and a japanese magazine, on sewing other stuff. all i need now is to get my fillers and fabrics. been kind of lazy to move around now, but i have to start going to chinatown if i want to start my softies.

that reminds me, i've yet to do my homework.. sigh.

australia trip 2009

the last week of June 2009 me and my group of friends went over to perth to visit Joanne. here are some pictures. the 'photography sessions' were kind of intimidating, as i was the only one with a common digital camera, the rest of the girls, 3, were armed with heavy amunition - DSLR cameras. looking at my miniature contraption, how i wish i could some how upgrade my camera to a DSLR. hahaha. what was even more disheartening, was that my camera kind of died (see below picture... looking miserable) in perth (although miraculously revive back home), so most of the pictures you see here are pictures i saved from my friend's facebook albums.. how pathetic.

to compensate the pathetic-ness of copying files from facebooks, i have thus, photoshopped the pictures for better viewing. hahaha.

we went to a vineyard at hillary's, to mandurah to see miniature houses, to AQWA to see the fishes, to little's imp's pub/restaurant to eat kangeroo meat, to king's park for picnic, and plenty of shopping.
